looks awful on the hanger
So, this dress looks awful on the hanger but rather cute on the model . . . I am not sure what to believe. Is it cute or not? Models are skinny and cute and look good in everything. I don't know!

Bees Knees
These remind me of the saddle shoes I wore when I was little, but all grown up. I should get them for nostalgia.

I Love Oregon
I grew up in Portland Oregon, born and raised. Then when I was 18 I up and moved to Missouri for college. Then the last 5 years I have been living and working in Southern California. So, I haven't lived in Oregon for almost 10 years! Which is crazy. I still feel like an Oregonian. I still consider myself to be from Oregon, although I also feel like a Midwesterner and Missourian, but definitely not Californian. In fact I would love to move out of Cali and back to the good old Northwest.
For whatever reason I love all things Oregon. I consider buying things from Portland as buying local (*remember . . . I live in California). I think I might be nuts. Anyway, these are not from Oregon, but they do have a great shape. I can't decide if I would love them if I still lived in Oregon and had never moved, but either way I would like to own one. Or two if I get a Missouri one too (not only cuz I lived there, but my hubby is from there too).

Lunch Box
Do you know anyone that carries a lunch box? Well I do, and his name is MY HUSBAND. And he wants a new one. I think this one is the coolest lunch "box" I have ever seen, but I really can't fathem spending $45 on a lunch tote. But isn't it awesome?

A plant I really cant kill
My name is Cat, and I kill plants. And if I don't kill them, my cats eat them. So I only have cacti and succulents - although the cats have killed the succulents as well! Well, I found something that I wont be able to kill.
I think they are adorable and would love to own at least one!

Casual
You know I am a true Portlander because of my love of fleece and hoodies. They really are some of the most unfashionable items, but I love them. Anyway, I discovered through Kendi some actually stylish hoodies! Adorable.

I actually won.
I love entering giveaways online and on blogs . . . plus it is so much fun when you actually win. And I won two giveaways this week! One on Noodlehead and the other on Sew, Mama, Sew!
Yay for me!

Sweet Little Dress
I really like this sweet little dress.
I must admit that I would never wear it without tights or leggings . . . I think it would be WAY to short for me (I am almost 6 feet tall!) . . . anyway, still very cute.

I won!
My husband never wants to watch movies . . . I mean never! I am not sure how, but I actually convinced him to watch a movie with me this weekend and it was AMAZING. We watched Inception. I thought it was really good . . . kinda Matrixy without the "powers" or whatever you want to call them. Do you think they are going to make a sequel? Kinda seemed like it. But it was fun, the two five of us on the new couches together. (five being hubby, me, the dog and two cats . . . yes everyone wanted to snuggle!
So, I am calling it a win for me!

Fashion Friday
I covet . . . a lot. And I liked my little post on fashion inspiration last Friday . . . so, here is another one. Don't be surprised if you see similar faces (and clothing!).
Notice that you are still seeing the blue buffalo print shirt?? That's cuz I still love it. But want to know the exciting news? It seemed to be sold out at JCrew, but then as I was browsing through the clearance section and guess what? There is was! And in my size no less. So . . . I bought it and it is coming to live with me very soon! There are a few left in very limited sizes if you need one too! Buffalo Shirt.
Also all the boots and colored tights! And I love the red stripes and red and blue button up, SO adorable . . . I think it is my new favorite outfit, although this one is still up there. Which reminds me, I need to buy those jeans, actually I just need to go shopping.
On a side note, do you have to have an unusual name to be super cute and fashionable?? Kendi, Ramsey, Sydney, Tania?? Adorable.

Whipping Post
These might be the coolest guitar bags ever! Not that many of you (or myself either) go shopping often for guitar bags. Although $800+ for a bag might be a bit excessive.
Maybe someday I can get one for the hubby.

Plaid
I have been a bit in love with plaid lately. I bought a couple scraps of plaid wool at Pendleton the last time I was in Portland, although I have yet to create anything from them. I promise to share when that time comes. I also bought these boots right after Christmas . . . and I love them!
Anyway . . . here is another plaid item I would love to own. So cute, huh?
I also like this shirt (although not as much as the dress)
